    I'd recommend using one of the specialists on here depending where you are in the country Too many horror stories of local garages tipex timing them with out the proper locking tools and messing them up

    Some decent ducting/airflow helps a lot with keeping the brake temps in check Oli Simple, cheap and effective mate

    They have pillar vents that are better for cooling the discs compared to normal vented discs That's excluding postage mate I'm £45 posted for them but I only send them on a proper courier service and physically stock then to ensure stock levels and fast delivery

    Spot on, I try tell everyone who gets Ferodo Racing DS2500/3000 etc that they need filing so they are not wedged in tight I only supply the larger pads as better value for money as come slightly thicker and have more surface area but they do need filing when fitting

    Did you file the paint from the ends of the pad backing plate? These pads need filing so they have room to expand when hot and don't get wedged in tight. The metal shims aren't needed in the pad carrier either They need 1mm of vertical movement to help prevent any binding issues , which...

    ^^ Does depend on driving style and how heavy you are on the brakes, brake cooling helps aswel Doing a proper cool down lap helps and doing "stints" on and off the track to give you and your car a break

    Yep, get a dial indicator on them mate Could have got you the Brembo HC discs off the Focus ST aswel for future reference

    Welcome along As mentioned , just do the things that need replacing first If the brakes need doing, may as well put some more track focused brake pads on at the same time Should be able to change engine mounts yourself. There is a good guide in the relevant section with part numbers etc...
