what was the compression ?? same on all bores?? did you put some oil into the bores and re read the readings? this will show if the leak is valves or rings

Well i kept with a small engined car till i built up my no claims to 4 years ,then i could protect it. I wouldnt be in such a hurry to get some power under your right foot yet,and id never pay more than 600 a year to 3rd fir n theft my car,this is for london too.Just do your time,itll save you...

ahhh.... i thought the esp might be on all the time.

How can i tell if my 172 mk2 has got esp on it? there is no traction or cruse control. is it marked on the plate in code? will i have to slide it sideways to find out?

I use the one in my clio and it is grrrreat. Got it for 223 from argos as every one else was outa stock.
