Hi... so will be going pretty low on AP coilovers and I'm choosing a wheel and tyre package to go with it. My options are 195/45, 205/55 or 215/55. This is on 16x8 wheels btw. Now I'm a fan of a lower profile so my instinct is the 195/45s.... but is there any advantage of going bigger? Would...

Mk2 > Mk1 > Mk3 Mk1 is still lovely, but does look quite a bit older. The Mk2 hasn't aged a bit imo, could be released now and still be as modern as the (boring, narrow, too many doored, not as good coloured) Mk3.

Splash Cars seems quite fun.

I'm not a 100% kind of guy lol. Tend to stick to main missions only... just usually get bored of things. I got it on the basis of some great reviews, however I've since read a lot of people saying that it's a good game, but not a good MGS. I loved the first one, but haven't actually played any...

There are already Lightning headphones. They'll probably include some free in the box... who cares. I got some £70 Bluetooth headphones for Christmas and they sound pukka, bruv.

Fair play. We've got 2 mobiles, 1 laptop, a Surface, an iPad, PS3, PS4 and smart TV all connected on 37Mb/s and it's fine... but tbh, the only thing that ever seems to get hit by slowdown is the iPad :persevere:

Anyone playing Metal Gear Solid? Just picked it up as my first game of 2016... graphics are on another level to other games I've played on here. Not sure about the credits after each episode thing though, kind of annoying.

Is there actually any real difference between 40Mb & 80Mb? My mate has a 200Mb line and he still gets buffering every now and then.

Still my favourite shape :) looks awesome. Are the rear lights tinted? Don't hate them... they kind of look like Golf R ones. I'd still probably put them back to standard if were mine though.

Looks fantastic! Almost the best spec possible (imo yellow/blue/red > white ;)) There's a black 56 plate 197 round here with no options at all as far as I can tell sitting on a garage forecourt for £6,499... that seems well over priced these days (obviously don't know mileage though) amirite?

Just to let you know mate when I was test driving cars before my Mini purchase, I also test drove an EP3 CTR and a Mk5 Golf GTI. The Civic looks the bomb but tbh I didn't like the high revving power delivery... it felt slow, like there was really nothing to it 😧 the gear shift however...

I break my own theory sometimes lol. I was actually considering Turini's for the Mini, however on my dark grey car (they call it silver, but it clearly isn't!) I do actually think the anthracite ones look so much better...

Must admit I feel the same way about my MCS... haven't really bonded with it yet. Mainly though, I think that's because I kept the 182 longer than any car before (4 years) and modded to (my) perfection. Whereas the MCS is pretty much totally standard and atm I can't afford to do anything about it!

I haven't driven a VXR, but I think the new ones look stunning tbh. Perfect if you're after something a bit more subtle...

I believe the R53 JCW brakes (red) and R56 MCS (silver) brakes are the same. As you say, may just have been painted... mine too perhaps :)

I know I'm going to get hate but for £8k I'd be looking at Astra XVRs tbh... just think they look great. Failing that, a Golf GTI or Focus ST.

By the way... do you have JCW brakes? I've been told that they're the only ones that come in red on the R53s. Mine are red... but I can't seen any JCW branding on them.

Don't often see the Aero skirts without the front bumper... but it definitely works! Will hopefully get my hands on some one day :)

Only reason I'm put off something like that is my mate took his iPhone 5S to one of these repair shops in London with a failed power button. They fixed it and all was happy days... for a little while. The following week it was dead again and so were the volume buttons and it wouldn't vibrate...

Neither of you got an iPhone? They do it just fine... I've done plenty of time lapse videos with it :)
