Small update... no pictures as ive lent my camera to my olds
I got a welding quote on saturday morning, it was bang on my budget.... so its being done this week
I spent the day on my mates ramps at ats cleaning up all the areas to be welded, this helped keep the cost down, while i was doing...

I would be worried about how this might have effected the turbo.... My fresh turbo was fucked in about 10 minutes of driving after the lower oil return hose from the turbo started leaking.
Ive got a new 5.. its legal but its a project & would rather not drive it on winter roads and My caddy failed its MOT and needs some welding ive yet to take it somewhere to get that done

I got the 2 of the wheels with a Formula Renault 2.0 8V engine i swapped for an F4R... long story lol... took me over a year to source another 2
There are some reet weird caddys on there neil lol
I still can't find a welder in my budget... might have to wait till next year now
The 16v/ Williams spacers are fat and chunky like the 5 GT ones the pics
Sorry i didn't know the 5 GT spacers were fat and wouldn't fit.... I always asumed they used the same rear axel as an RSi :o
Just need to get the welding done now... Finding a good price for it to be done is proving a problem lol
and ive picked up 2 more 8x13 Formula Renault Mad'in splits... Just need to refurb them like the other 2 and get the tyres fitted.... but they are not going on till its batty low
I tryed this one first, it was close.... The one i got under was a touch higher so just went for it with the watchful eyes of other people, some other members cheated at a later date;) ;)
