to be fair i don't have a clue if it did a clean install or upgrade. i pressume it did an upgrade as windows.old folder was there. when it came to sticking vista on, i couldnt choose upgrade, only clean install! nevermind. works a dream and love how quick it hibernates and shuts down etc..

well...when it booted up from the CD it said "UPGRADE HAS BEEN DISABLED" and only let me do "clean install"... yet i had a folder still called "Windows.old" with everything frm XP in :):) so far so good!

Cani just delete "Windows.Old" ?? I've got all my old documents that i needed and stuff but there is like 200programs on there that wont work now and therer is no "add/remove" function... Also.. When i've downloaded something and its about to install the screen goes balck then comes back...
