Ph2 stips are common as mook, get to the scrap yard and rip some off a 1.2 I got mine for £20. It's the 2.0 16v badges that are expensive. Think I paid £40 for both. Sprayed my strips myself.

I paid for "full 4 wheel alignment" it isn't far but I have a feeling they might argue :( What's up with the castor ? one is like positive and the other negative. Is that safe ? He gave me the sheet and I didn't really understand it.

Intensive tar remover is very good however it only really works well when used from a spray bottle, spray on and leave for a minute and you can see the tar melting and dripping down. Give it a go.

Before After That look alright ? Also. Got my tyres fitted too. Coilovers feel much nicer now anyway, and hopefully wont have more uneven tyre wear.

I got a loan for my 182 sold it and made money on it then bought my ph1 and all its modifications and paid off my loan with the money from the 182. Miss my 182 though :(

That wheel is an omp targa. I have the same one & the same boss and my wires fit through. Mine is a ph1 172 though.

Personally I'd just get a set of 15" steelies with winter tyres on them and keep a cheap set of snow chains in the car. Can always sell the tyres and steels when you get home if you want.

I've been bummed by insurance that much that anything under £1500 seems cheap to me.

My 182 was so much better though lol ! £45ish from renault, there was nothing actually wrong with it, just me being an idiot and not realising the surfaces I was checking it on were uneven LOL. I still have the old one somewhere. Waste of money buying a new one :(

My 182 had a cat break the day I got it and after that not a single thing went wrong with it. I only had it for a bit though. My ph1 is the most unreliable car I've ever owned lol. Going to sack it off after the summer. Had it since october and had. Coolant leak, split radiator bung required...
