sounds about right.
When i first got my ITG i took my car for a spin then put on an old green open kit i had for my old saxo, Quick bodge. The filter inside was piping hot. There must be some sort of heat soak with the OEM box being so close to the engine block.
There was no dif in...
the maxogen must be loads better, is it not carbon fibre?
I still think that the OEM plastic air box warms up inside, it must do. I've got a ITG panel. Nothings changed apart from i dont have to replace it.
Im going open kit in a few days time.
I reakon it looks like a bodyshop job.
I wouldn't use chipsaway, i had them come out to my girlfriends car and the touched it up with a brush, i could have done a better job with a Halfords touch up pen.
with out a remap it will run like a bag of turd, I drove my saxo 100 with a set of cams and no map and it took forever and kept stalling at every roundabout and traffic light.
If you not going to get a map dtraight away i wouldn't personally fit them, the A/F will be all over the palce.
they are dif to others ive seen. Whats the proper way? i saw one last night with out it on the bumpers?
And ive seen one that go below the plate and badges and just stop on the boot line.
