Wozzaa, it's not dead at all. Some recent survey I looked at on a PC forum shown that 49% of AMD users were still using 939 - Now if AMD can't address those users waiting to upgrade with their latest incarnation of chips then it's pretty obvious why they are going downhill fast. As it stands...
No like I said, they've completely forgotten about us all on S939, fking annoying as I'd buy one tomorrow, but im not willing to buy an AM2 board and a CPU given that AM2 isn't exactly the future.
A 6000+ (£147) will put in similar benches to a C2D E6700 (£300+). Only problem being the AMD is stretched to the max, no OCing to be had at all.
The flipside to the coin is you can get a C2D E4300 for £95, and OC it stupidly quickly.
I just wish AMD would pull their finger out of thir fking...
Dont bother, won't be any better than a decent branded 5-6MP.
Don't be fooled by the MP rating of cameras, it's all about the lens and the processing within the camera.
That would be my advice.

Casio Exilim 10mp. Spot on camera, huge screen, very very compact, good shots.
Hi folks,
Looking for a mini video camera to take skiing next week, and also to strap onto my bike tank eventually for some footage. Just wondered if any of you had a recommended model from having used a particular model yourselves.
Not looking for DVD quality images, but a small form factor...
Hm maybe on standard pads/discs, but im sure that decent pads and some Brembo HC/Max are more than sufficient for most applications.
Just wondered why the extra stopping power is needed, in a car like the Clio the stopping power limitations is the tyre i'd have thought.
So discs and calipers you get on an MTB are the same size as the Clio then? Completely different stopping power for completely different use.
Bare arse for show, PM me email addys for pics ;)
When you have a rider that weighs 100kg sat on it that changes significantly, also check out the size of the calipers. Oh and show me a MTB that weighs 10kg and i'll show you my bare arse.
I'm just wondering why someone would see that they need 4-pot for road use when the OE setup is pretty...
Question is though, and not to offend you. But why the hell is there a need for 4-pot brakes on a car weighing little over a ton?
Standard calipers are more than sufficient with some HC discs, and decent pads.
Maybe I missed something?
Brasso will work fine, used it on my ipod a few times. Theres a good few guides around on ipodlounge.
Failing that get one of them clean freaks to PC it ;)
Trap laid.
Mouse sniffing.
More cheese added.
Trap sprung!
The 8800 one of those phones that looks and feels superb (until it gets dropped/scratched) and is perfect if you only intend to make voice calls and send sms.
Pretty poor spec these days, but a nice looking and well put together...
^On that note, there's hardly any software thats capable of multi-threading to that extent in the home market. Seems like a good way to waste money IMO.
VMware is superb actually, we just got a nice server at work, so far we've got 9 smaller servers running on it. Seems to be coping very well...
Quadcore is a complete waste of time and money right now. You'd be better off sticking to dualcore and getting upgrading other components that will render better bang-4-buck.
Personally I think SLI and Crossfire are a complete waste of money, by the time they become common place with worthwhile performance benefits the game will have moved onto the next gimmick. Theres no software out there that will push a good rig to unplayable quality.
Get a modular PSU, much tidier than having 23 unused molex connections hanging loosely in your PC.
Oh and don't be overly concerned ahout the power ratings, a good 300W PSU is infinitely better than a crappy Qtec 3,000,000,000W PSU.
400W is plenty, but go for a 500W if you intend to use...
