I was in my pal's 182 today he clocked 153mph on the way back from scotch corner and it's totaly standard but to be fair this was over a distance and on a flat straight.

Got the spring's fitted an hour ago been out for a drive i can feel the difference it's alot stiffer it's icy out side so didn't get to test them to their full potential yet lol

lol they came of a 182 cup with very low milage all in mint conditon but i wouldn't really like to split them i would however sell both the front one's if your interested pm me an offer ;)

Me too mate they look identical i'm taking the rear cup shock's out and putting my standard one's back in, yeah they will go into my collection of spare's lol.

Now that i've compared the shock's it look's like there's no difference i think i might aswell take the cup shock's out of the rear and replace them with my standard one's. Are the shock's the same on the cup as they are on the standard 182 ????

Probled solved with the locking nut's it worked putting a socket around persuasively now i've come to another problem lol

That's where the problem lies with the front strut's, the bolt won't fit through the new cup shock's !!!

I could wait, but i've put new lowering spring's and shock's on the rear and the front isn't done yet and i need to use the car tomorow so what to do !!!

Fortunatly it's just a set of carflow trilock's they don't have the spinning outer edge, i had the one's with the spinning outer edge on my merc i used 3 genuine merc key to remove and they all broke then i had to face fact's they had to be cut off:( , but all the same my wheel's are immaculate...

I have just snapped my locking wheel nut key, now my front wheel's are stuck on i am in the middle of a suspension change i got the back one's done fine as you don't need the wheel's off and now i will have to wait until monday to order a new key and that will take a few day's to come i wouldn't...

I was after some of those aswell mate i thought it would be a good idea to prevent scratches on the pillar i think i will just be more carefull for now on lol

I've now been told 10 N.m = 1 Da N.m. and i was told to use 10.5 danm so that work's out at 105nm you where spot on mate thank's !!!

No it was 1.2 8v nice car's though aren't they !!!

Love these clio's mate i bought one of these in 2001 and kept it on as my second car for day to day use had to sell it last month to make way for my focus i was gutted to see it go like, nice car mate.
