fpga's are hardware, that's what makes them special. New graphics engine? Why sir, no problem...download.... The technology isn't there for consumer electronics yet (speed & price), but it will get there. There was an Acorn RiscPC (compatible - third party as Acorn was dead) computer which...

Dunno, there was a chat thing on the old forum and it said coming soon. I remember there being posts about it being in testing. Edit: Here we go, knew I wasn't going mad: http://web.archive.org/web/20040325110953/http://forum.cliosport.net/ Down the bottom...Online chat...in testing.

Did we? I remember the chat section on the old forum, but that was never open to anyone other than the testers. Or did I fall asleep and miss it?!

    Itunes and Ipod problems!

You've not got a firewall which allows access rules per application have you? If so, check that you've not accidentally blocked iTunes from internet access.

    Apple laptop help

What daz said. You won't find much in the way of "deals", they'll all be pretty much the same price wherever you purchase from. If you buy from john lewis you'll get their own extra warranty. If you want a deal then get an apple refurb from the apple store.

Cool. Good to know about the scotland place. Doesn't really bother me where it originates from, but it's only cheap if you avoid VAT, duty & charges. I've seen the places that guarantee to refund the charges, but I always wonder how easy and quick they actually make it.

Lovely pics. I saw those pics in your other thread, I think there were surreal ones of traffic. Were they the same lens?

Only "exempt" from duty because it's being fraudulently labelled - which the receiver is liable for! Whether you actually get caught is another matter.... There do appear to be some in scotland for not much more, but not sure if they are actually in scotland or not!

That was going to be my question! I've seen it for a few quid more on ebay, but it's always from hong kong.

No, No, Some and No. PS2 & PS2 are capable of running linux, as is any processor with a MMU. I'd imagine that the number of mobile devices running a linux variant pales in comparison to those running CE/Windows Mobile. And mac os runs BSD, which pre-dates linux by a long time! That is for sure.

Linux - somebody, somewhere is having a joke!

What he said! ^ Seriously people, you haven't used a proper operating system until you've used a posix (unix compliant) operating system. Sure, if you're used to pointing at s**t with a mouse cursor then you're in for a massive learning curve, but it's the way that unix operates that sets it...

Linux - somebody, somewhere is having a joke!

This is the fundamental problem, not because of a lack of work in this area, but too much... It's an utter mine field for a programming, which window manager do you target your application at? KDE, Gnome or some other less well known system. For the most part this is where Windows and OS X...
