I have just gone up to 205s on my 172. Michelin Pilot Exalto. And they had a red dot on the sidewall & a red stripe on the tread. Got them from mytyres.co.uk So who is telling the truth about what markings the stiffer tyres have? You tell me cos im confused. Dave

Easiest way i found is jack up the rear slightly on the beam, this lifts the front enough to get a trolley jack under the front subframe area. Dave

Buy 1 of those trays what fits under the parcel shelf from renault. Thats what i did, just rights for odds and sods like that. Dave

My 172 used just under a litre over the 1st few thousand miles. But after that doesnt use any at all so now so i wouldnt worry too much blaupunkt. Dave

I thought that my silver 172 had been damaged as well when i got it cos the wings stand out like a sore thumb.
