Do you have a supply of oil??? The world can't help the fact the Middle East has one of the largest supplies in the world. SA and the UAE are fairly stable right now,especially the UAE.

Hate to rub it in guys but i currently pay 1 pound a GALLON,lol. Have done for the best part of 13 months. Oil will run eventually but they estimate reserves for at least 100 years +. The UAE and Saudi have enough reserves to run the world's supply if it ever came to that.

Fred... a quick question.... How long would you need to fit the megane engine into a 172/182 without stop/starting like your project? And does it actually work? Has anyone got a megane engine running in a 172/182?

Fred is doing it at the moment. No space for the gearbox as its a huge animal compared to the 172's box. Also space in other areas is an issue along with the electronics of it all

It's not too clever for the actual paint of the car either. My dash gets silly hot but i always try and park in some sort of shade.

What EVO was it though? FQ400 would see off the M3 no problem probably even the FQ340 FQ340- 0-60 4.4 secs and 250 BHP/Ton M3- 0-60 5.1 secs and 219 BHP/Ton

Anything is possible with time and money i suppose. I think the biggest problem will be the gearbox and actually squeezing it all in.
