HPI will tell you if it has been written off and if it has credit history wont it? Nothing will tell you whether its a ringer though !!!

Tony - you sound as if you are suspicious of this particular car?! Are you considering buying it? If you have suspicions, unless it is a particuiarly good buy I would avoid it - if you cant trust its history it possibly isnt worth a light ! p.s. how the devil are ya??? not spoken or seen...

and this STILL belongs in the MEETINGS & EVENTS forum please!!!!! We cant moan at one person for using the forum wrongly if events co-ordinators then go on and do the same, can we??????????????

Craggy - agreed, the vent would be a "finishing touch" I think ! But if you know the differences you dont need the two together - the easiest thing to notice at a distance even is the colour coding on the bumpers - on the Mk1s certainly only the 172s have that (as standard).

Autocar reports that it will be available Spring 2003 - so start saving !!!!

so, the difference between a 172 and a 1.2 basic model is:- front wings, rear quarter panels, front bumper, rear bumper, spoiler, wheels, colours (mostly), colour coded bumpers front and rear, side skirts and the difference between a Williams and a 1.2 basic model was:- front wings, rear...
