Re: donnys front end.
aaahhh i see well in that case i beat you lol. i did my front and back bumpers and bonnet twice (as someone keyed it a few days after the fist lick of paint) for free haha lol
Re: donnys front end.
we use dulux at our place lol na only joking cant remember the name for the life of me but i will get back to you on that one lol but he supplyed his own paint on this job. the guns used were devilbiss ones (only the best will do lol)
prep means the sanding bit before the painting but its not really advised if you dont know how to do it as if you send it to a body shop as a "self prep job" and the prep is crap, you cant blame the body shop for it if there are a load of scratches in it when its done.
Re: donnys front end.
it took a few days. he dropped it off on the monday night, started it on tuesday and he had got it back by thurs or fri. but it wasnt a very busy week so i was allowed to just get on with it. prices depend on what you want doing and ammount of time envolved. not gona...
im sure some of the midlands crew that have seen donnys car, noticed that the paint was flakeing off his car like crazy and his front bumper looked like some one had been practising their artexing skills on it (no offence donny lol). so when he came to me, i was only to happy to get it sorted...
ive got one and i did notice a little difference but not a fat lot. got it more really because i wanted one to go with the rest of the engine the fact that it may help a little too is a bonus to me.
