I've only ever noticed the delay when blipping the throttle whilst in neutral. Once in gear and on the move the throttle response is razor sharp imho.
And no fubar, the cable breaking isn't a big issue..... and neither is the fbw ;)
It isn't as big a deal as people make it out to be. If you read any review on the 172/Cup you'll see there are always positive comments about the sensitve throttle.
And at least you'll never have to change the cable. Which is a common fault on ph1 172's.

RJ 45 ethernet connection. Looks a bit like a bigger version of a phone socket if you like. Is used for connecting PC's in a wired network.
NIC cards for PC's are peanuts but I have no idea about laptops.
Ring them up and threaten to leave. Tell them why, barter for a bit and say you can't afford it then they'll send someone round for nothing. I was having trouble with mine as my LNB was fucked. I threatened to cancel and they sent someone round two days later and fitted a n new LNB FOC.

It's the little niggly things with the nokia - Like not seeing file transfer progress with bluetooth, bluetooth files are recieved as a message and not just saved to the appropriate folder like SE phones.... and it's very slow.... and despite being an extra 2 megapixels the camera...
I can handle the fact diesels are quick in a straight line. What I can't handle is the fact regardless of how much they've improved they still sound s**t, have a crap all or nothing power delivery, are nose heavy and chuck out clouds of black s**t.

I'm happy with mine, but same as Ali I never paid full price. At £300, and considering the comprehensiveness of the kit it comes with, it was worth the extra over the Viper. But at £360?? Not sure.
