Ive just been informed that the non import Clio 182s have a Cat 1 alarm fitted as standard by renault. I was under the impression theyre a Cat 2 after checking Thatchams website, However IIRC Cat 2 only applies to immobilisers Can someone confirm what is correct, Thanks Rich

I think i still prefer having them in the car, If someone arse ends you at least your car will stand a better chance of not being wrote off. Im to tight to insure mine lol

I bet the clio looks a bit daft from side on with a bike carrier on the roof, I tried to get one from the dealer the other day when buying my car. Couldnt get one :( The only thing putting me off getting one is, If i snag the bike on a branch leaving a trail, or it topples over and damages the roof

If you dont change the filter no point doing the change IMO, The filter is there to remove small metal particles which will go into the clean oil in time. Think of it as a Carbon grinding paste, not good :nono:

There was a minty 54plate FF 182 going for £6995 at my local ford garage, I missed out on it by about 4 hours. So IMO too its overpriced
