Ive just been informed that the non import Clio 182s have a Cat 1 alarm fitted as standard by renault. I was under the impression theyre a Cat 2 after checking Thatchams website, However IIRC Cat 2 only applies to immobilisers

My insurance have specified i have a Cat 1 alarm fitted to my car, I have a blackjax immobiliser but dont know the code :( Does anyone know anyone in the above areas who can supply and fit an alarm?

I bet the clio looks a bit daft from side on with a bike carrier on the roof, I tried to get one from the dealer the other day when buying my car. Couldnt get one :(
The only thing putting me off getting one is, If i snag the bike on a branch leaving a trail, or it topples over and damages the roof
If you dont change the filter no point doing the change IMO, The filter is there to remove small metal particles which will go into the clean oil in time.
