Make sure when the battery goes back on the terminals are clean (sand them preferably) and tight. id hazard a guess at a flat battery due to possible short journeys? Either way before forking out on a new alternator I'd focus on the battery first

ios7 battery life is far better on my 5. i have found though that it drains a lot quicker if you leave apps running in the background now

5 years with Bosch batteries from halfords and 4 years with halfords own. halfords I find are actually very good for batteries

I've done it to my old Megane. It's easy enough to do but I've had to create a little security circuit to stop any old person from starting it. Immobiliser is easy to bypass as is the steering lock (just take the fucker out!) but I believe without a steering lock its an mot fail
