Ta mate! As said, warped discs are actually very rare. Is there plenty of life left in the pads/discs May be worth someone checking them for you and having them stripped down/cleaned etc and make sure the inside pad isn't binding.

What Martin said above When they checked them, did they strip them down and check the inside pad isn't wedged in/binding or just have a quick look

It's definitely worth travelling to get it done by one of the specialists to get the cambelt kit changed on these cars That quote is over the going rate from one of the specialists/Traders on here but appreciate there won't be many garages up your way that could do it (correctly)

Another vote for the Osram nightbreakers if not going down the HID kit route Great bulbs. Used them in a few cars, last well in my experience of them

Ta Si! OP sounds like a sticky/binding front caliper. After a drive can you "feel" (note NOT touch) more heat coming off one disc to the other side Replacing discs and pads will be needed, but you want to get the calipers working as they should be first/at same time A strip down/clean/grease...
