Bargain that, I got one free with Tesco Insurance the other year.
My Karcher is a k5, nice 7m lance, canna be arsed dragging the pressure washer round the car with a 4M hose
I thing i will say is they sound lovely, shame my hangers all seemed to be 15mm out on my 182
I'd probably have one on the 197 if it wasnt for the w**k tail pipes
100% bad connection on the rear lights. Other things to try is bend each pin off the wiring loom that connects to the clusters. With this your bending it to make a better connection, flick each of the 'prongs' back up (this worked for me) You'll probably find also if you put your lights on, then...
Not really a disappointment imo,

I own a 197 Cup, have owned an early 197 and driven a 200 Cup. Biggest difference for me is the quicker rack on the Cupped 200's, instantly...
Lots of people get hung up on brands. I'd class myself as quite keen when the weather nice. Have a PC with all the Menz ploishes. However by hand you dont need all the desighner brands imo
I use,
Valet pro Orange crush pre wash, megs/AG shampoo. Use a good drying towel.

Once I had 400 miles out of my 197, that was the tank brimmed to running on fumes............. was pretty much cruising around with that. Usually I'll get around 350 miles. I only use it for 'pleasure' have a van for work. Probably fill itup every 12 days or so
Leave it standard you kev, forget these barry Ktec stealth's etc etc
Standard = Awesome.
I will however allow some sportlines, and Konis, an maybe a 5000k HID kit. 6k look brap yo
My only regret is not owning a Trophy, doesn't bother you but to me they feel oooold inside now. I like the Mk3, not perfect, but much better inside day to day
I'd be interested, I'm a pussy and wont track mine, however I want to see if there is a marked difference (my money says no) I want kev to bring his out of hibernation for comparison. You get that 197 feeling most days when you turn the steering wheel ;)
172 Cup?
I'd be interested to see a stock 197 Cup and 200 round a track, i'd put good money on there being nothing in it. Them "extra" torques will only help on the shopping run ;)
Remember how much better a 182 was back in the day? funny how there's nothing in it now ;)
When i ran my old one on H&R's coilovers it was superb, like the stock Cup set up but with the added lowness i could dial in. The Eibachs only lower around 20mm and that's on non cupped cars, so its not worth it on the cup chassis as they are already 7-10mm lower.............. H&R springs, i've...
A standard Cup will run rings round round cheapy £400 coilovered shod car. The 197 200 set up is superb for a stock car. Infact I, dont even think you can get ktec specials for them yet............. thank god.
