when the engine is cold the ecu piles fuel in to help it run ( choke ) but then as it warms up its starts decrecing the fuel flow to what it should be hence the reason for the power surge. The engine aint getting flooded anymore. same kinda way if u start an old honda generator from cold u...

after having constant problems wi my exhaust i took my wee motor down to the local garage. he said id reversed over somit bent the cat & attachments. ( lowered 40mm ) anyway he took cat ect off heated and welded the lot.......... sorted. only for a few wks then the thing started blowing...
