Took the rear axle off today, Bit of work getting some bolts off! Had to give Fred a quick call to see how one bolt would come out by the fuel tank. His answer was to drop the fuel tank. Job done :-) cheers Fred Plan is to sand blast it back to bare metal and Respray it yellow or red. Torn...

I know a mate who works in the tyre fitting place, he normally does it for free for me if I buy a set of tyres ;)

Get it aligned in a garage. Make sure the steering wheel is straight when they do it. Local tyre supplier here charges £20. Easy fix

Trust me, the car pulled so much better after he did the timing. As the last garage had done it wrong therefore it wasn't producing the power it was meant to!

Or buy a ph1 horn stalk. Plug it in and the horn works :-). I'm not sure of new MOT laws either. I think it fails if airbag light shows up on dash?

I have ktec's engine and gearbox mount plus a powerflexed dog mount. Was rather bad in vibration terms straight after fittment. 500 miles after you wouldn't have noticed any vibration :-). All been on for 40k miles with no trouble!

I've owned B14's for 3 years nearly now. They are awesome but be aware they don't last. Mine are being refurbed for a cost of approx £250 for the front shocks. Which I didn't want after paying £900 back then. Spax do look good though

I've put copper grease on the sliders but it still squeals, I'm not bothered by it. Propper braking force sound ;-)

New 306 - I was tidying it up today and while pulling the hideous back spoiler I smashed the glass to pieces!! It's insured thank god!! Autoglass fixing it on Sunday :-) Both together - 90 bhp vs 183 ;-)
