id of headed straight for a garage and jet washed it off, hose+ a rich mix of shampoo/water shud sort it.
I know how u feel mate, there are some t***s about, ive had a full large McD's cup of coke thrown into my car once, i was livid.
hehe, how true. seriously tho, was at the MK meet last night, went for blat round the bk roads, chap behind me was in a 182FF with cup packs and he said i definately had the edge, was pulling away in 2nd no probs.
thats probably about right, qlthough some ppl might argue that the racing shocks gives the trophy the edge, but down a quarter mile my money would be on the 172cup.
ah, damn, forgot u had a 1.2, that might be a prob then, lol. the acoustiv valve is on the cold air feed of the 172/182 and is supposed to keep the noise down, you wont have one, sry, i shud learn to read.
[qoute]The next development will be a stiffer suspension option. On the 182, the Cup suspension option was taken by most customers but I don't think that this will be the case for the 197 as the standard set up is very good. As for a 'cup' version, that's still being considered. There's no great...
i drove a 197 and thought it was ok tbh. Are they using a down tuned F7R in this one? cuz that'll mean that most probably with some simple mods ull have the 197hp.
just pull the acoustic valve out and stick an ITG panel filter in there, job done. You get a sharper throttle response and some people have said it makes a better noise too, although mine sounded the same.
mine too, to be fair theres so little in it though, the 10hp gain the the 182FF has over a 172 cup for instance, the cup makes up for in its wieght loss. i think if u put a mk1 172, mk2 172FF, 172 CUP, 182FF, 182CUP and Trophy down santa pod with identical drivers and perfect conditions, there...
