    Before anybody suggests it i will be looking at many many past posts on this topic!! But for now i have just a few specific questions!! :) Firstly, is the early Megane F7 2.0 engine IDENTICAL to the willy lump?? When putting in a 2.0 lump is it ESSENTIAL to use the willy gbox?? - If not...

    You are correct there Rob in that 16vs & Willys were the only clios to recieve the wide arch, bonnet bulge treatment from Renault!!...Citreon take note! ;) I reckon it must have been an RSi you raced mate cos i doubt a 1.4 would beat you although it may not be far behind!

    RSis are 8v and are not capable of 0-60 in 8 secs!?!? Could still be fast enough to beat a VTR though! Could it even have been a GTT lump in a non 16v/willy clio that beat you Jay??

    Well there were 1.2, 1.4, 1.8 all 8vs, then the 1.8 16v (sporty model) and the 2.0 16v williams lump! Think thats all!? Other than oil burners perhaps!

    I f**kin hate pikeys!! Does seem as though you aint having much luck Jon mate! I hate leaving my car anywhere nowadays cos you know some gypos gonna mess with it! What upsets me even more than theiving arseholes is the legal system which almost goes so far as to defend the bloody scrotes...

    Yeah get it done well before the service book suggests, just in case! As for price i think BBPT have it listed at about £170 including the price of the belt fitted!

    mk1 phase 1 and 2 rear lights

    Phase 2s are curvier and slightly tinted, and they stick out further from the back so unless you have the carbon effect boot handle which also sits out a bit i wouldnt swap em!

    s2000s are getting common as muck round our way! Seen more of them than 16vs!! One parks where i work with the number plate "S2000 RK"!! Yummy!
