Cruising its fine, but in town I always have to lift off the back a bit/lean towards the steering wheel. Also my seats have no support whatever for corners, but they're different to yours!
I'm joking babes...calm down. But TBH, any car with a bit of torque is gonna spin up easily in first, you just have to moderate the power...or lack of! Especially in these conditions!
If you want to save it, take it to an independant approved bodyshop that will have lower labour costs. Tell your insurers you want to choose where it goes.
Often these private bodyshops will do you a deal, where they'll bump up their quote to the insurers and give you cashback = you won't pay...
