Pay circa £50 (case, wifi, power, sd, rpi etc) instead of £9.99? I actually have a RPi which I'm using for a project, yes there is more functionality but it's not a device you can just hand out to non computer techies!

First things first, have you pulled the CMOS battery, removed charger and battery then held the power button down for 30 seconds?
