that reminds me the mechanic who road tested my car after the service on monday obviously likes music too, i got in and the volume was seriously cranked up and the clutch pedal was soft, dread to think what he was doing. bit suss though, never had it road tested after a service before... Si.

well ive got a little further... i now have left and right controls working for both mirrors but up and down just isnt happening.. im sure ive tried every combination, the most i can get is when i press up the mirrors click... is my only option now a multimeter then? Something odd is going on...

my bonnet is chipped to f**k, thatll all be sorted when its debadged though. Si.

only work on the rear that i have had done is the smoothing of where the wiper was, that cost me £100. It was already debadged when i bought it. Ive been quoted £160 to do the doors. Si.

all i can get to work is make the mirrors come to and go away from the car and even this is wrong because thats on the up/down control. Mirrors: White Brown Blue Black Passenger Side Mirror: Black Brown Pink Yellow/Grey Red/Purple Drivers Side Mirror: Purple Pink Green Orange Black does...

are those 17s bubbles? if so did you have to take the arch liners out? Si.

need some help wiring my electric M3 mirrors. they come with 4 wires, the car has 5 and im nto having much luck... has anyone wired some of these up... fancy giving me which colour goes to which and where the 5th wire goes? Si.

youre not gonna make a 1.2 go much faster though mate, its not worth even trying i dont think, my last car was a 1.2 so i know the lack of power can be frustrating but i saved up for something faster. Si.

why do you worry about 0-60 in a 1.2? Si.

1.4 8v (RT) is 75 or 80bhp depending on year. 1.6 16v (mk2 only) is 110bhp 1.8 8v Rsi is 110bhp 1.8 16v is 137bhp as for insurance groups it seems to depend upon the insurance company, if youre keeping it standard try tesco theyre usually good on standard cars. Si.
