i had just springs on my old car, its like doing half a job, if you want to lower it and feel the proper effects, you need the matched shortened shockers................dont be tight, do it all first time round, Apex shocks are lifetime warrantied too...... :D
ok, experience shows, 60mm Pi is good for looks and looks only, get a full kit, matched springs and shocks are THE only way to go, Apex -40mm is what i have and its great, and the -60mm kit seems to give a good compromise between the looks of the Pi, and the useability of the -40mm Apex!! At...
agree, if u potter about for ages (i do sometimes) its like the car gets used to it, so when u do boot it, seems to need time to adapt to it.........then it goes in "rev-me" mode :D
My views on this are pretty simple..........if i had a proper setup R-sport motor like a 182 with cup pack etc, i would leave it! My 1.2 was -60mm on just springs when i got it and although it looked good, it was awful to drive, and threatened to throw you into the nearest ditch on the best of...

Sheep.........The only thing is th engine weight up front.........the rear springs would fit for sure..........The 40mm springs on mine on the back are not a lot higher than Gees 60mm ones....
coz it will work better as a set, i see what ur trying to do Gee, but even a quality apex shocker couldnt help a Pi 60mm spring that much LOL. Give it a go, u can always put the apex springs on if need be........... personally, a design like this can never be all that great...
