always got problems . got this annoying sound at the moment from engine. Its like a tinny sound and worst in mornings. Cant bear having windows down as always hear it and thats with a bmc kit and full system! Had system checked and not blowing. thats with my car misfiring in mornings, idling...

dont worry mine is sluggish aswell. Its mainly cause 172/182's have no torque. really pisses me off

what does the tdc sensor do? Mine sometimess misfires when left for along time. but starts up second time. Iv had the lambda sensor changed so it not that. im thinking tdc sensor, coil pack, ht lead or spark plugs. thing is i dont know where or what they look like lol

mine has a knocking sound when i'm driving in high gear whilst going 30mph or so. It does my head in and no one knows what it is.

Lambda senosrs on 172's, are there different types as i read there are twin ones, 2 seperate sensors in the cat etc. Bit confused.

Thing is I have lifetime warranty on my exhaust system and if tampered with it is void. So if i get a garage to fit the sensor does that mean they will have to tamper with the system??

if it defo in the cat then surely they wont need to even go into the engine bay ye?

So i wont have to remove my BMC kit with the CAF as i had such trouble fitting it i dont fancy removing it and refitting?

Do you need to remove loads of engine parts to fit it?? Cause renault guna charge 100 quid labour which 2hours or so??

I've never heard people have probs with the lambda sensor when fitting a bmc either. The car is 52 reg done 40k. I've refilled it with same petrol as always. He checked the wires around the sensor and they seem fine but he did say its coming up with a fault sometimes with the lambda sensor...

Right reno rang me and said the oxy sensor does seem faulty but he says it could be due to my BMC induction kit? What do you guys think? I've had the BMC kit on for 2 months or so and never had problems before? Could the BMC kit have ruined the oxy sensor?

when my car cuts i only get the STOP and Battery light come on. No lights are on when its driving. I'm worried of fitting this new oxy sensor, spending all this money and then get the car back and it still does it!

does the error come on where the mileage is?? Cause to be honest i not looked when the car cuts out.

Is this the same as lambda sensor? As you may have read my car keeps cutting out and just before it does it is VERY lumpy and cant drive smoothly. Only seems to happen in cooler weather aswell. Well i had my throttle bodies cleaned and that hasnt fixed it and now they saying it sounds like...

Throttle body now cleaned so hopefully that fixed it. They did say it was a bit clogged up when they did it. will pick car up tomorow and see.
