Ok Mick, unbolted it, tried to reassemble it. I can't see that it's not square and it certainly won't change angle. I can't see any spacers mind. Took some more pictures as well.
On an additional note there is some play in this fixing
It is scraping the screen, if I loosen it off then there is not enough force to hold the arm in place and it won't move, if I tighten it then it just gets closer to the screen.

Managed to get the old wiper motor off, new one on. Tested it and works fine. Put it all back together, put the wiper arms on and they are catching on the windscreen.
If I loosen them off then the arm won't move, tighten them and they catch the screen.
What am I doing wrong...
I think with photography stuff, you get what you pay for. I would of thought the ones in jessops would be hoya filters. So probably a more clear glass.

I have a budget of £30-40 to get a friend a present. It has to be photography related as they are photography minded and they role with an entry level Canon DSLR I think its the 550D? But I could be wrong.
Any nifty little accesories you would recommend?
