I know the 350D is classed as old tech now, but really happy with the pics i was able to get, and could save some £££ by getting one instead of a 400D. Glad your on the way to the getting the Elf sorted.

Perhaps i didn't explain myself well enough, but from my understanding he is only looking to remove a black rubber mark. In my experience SRP should be perfect for this. SRP is abrasive i thought, i appreciate its no where near as abrasive as menz ip 3.02 for example.

I would try an abrasive polish like autoglym super resin first.

After getting a few snaps of Steve's (Anim@l) car and mine parked up at castle combe the day before. I took these again using Steves 350D with the kit lense, on the Sunday at the Renault World Series. Love the colour of the R3. And the white R26 was stunning...
