Ok ... I appologise if I may have got it wrong and getting peoples hopes up, But there is a significant increase in performance with the the megane chip in the 182. As I've never had the car on a rolling road, I cant give you a deffinate answer On Bhp output, I just assumed it would be close to...

When I first purchased the 182 in March I was told by my dealer if I wanted more power they could supply the Megane Chip to increase power output, It gives the 182 the same power I would presume as it remaps, but you dont get the twin turbo head as you get in the Megane, chip only. Its quicker...

Did Renault tell you of the chip conversion they do specifically for the 182 ?? You want power gains? its the chip they place in the megane sport... £450 gives you 225 Bhp.. I've got that and a K&N 57i Induction kit under my bonnet, nothing else coz Nice Renault start throwing "warranty"...

Not over-keen on the front-rear bumpers and as I got pointed out on mine... Silver mesh on a car that hasnt got anything else on it to match?

yep... very nice but I'd like to know why you need so big a pipe? ... unless its designed to sit underneath the engine and to the front of it just buy one in this country... the K&N kits are universal across the sport 2 litres.. Trust me on that, I had a K&N on a mk1 172, now got it on my 182...

now that I dont have as yet .. but they're arguing at the moment of a possible new sticker and website logo lol .... Lets hope it goes well ... but I will be investing in a couple just to make the car look better! ;)

nope ... got mine from Sunwin Halifax, last car I got there was a RSi 1.6 16v Clio, about 4 years now I think ... Went to have a nosey coz I like the colour of the trophy... But the appeal of ice cream had no chance against that in itself lol ..

I found my 172 better on fuel than my 182 counterpart.. I'd regular got MPG ratings between 35/46 Mpg in the mk1 but I'm only getting 23/35Mpg out of the new one ... Pros and cons of cars I suppose, mind you I do know the 182 is a fat little fecker and its put weight on from the 172. but then...

I've just put meshing at the bottom too and I've got a cold air feed running from behind that to my induction kit at the top .... You cant see the pipe unless your up close too ( its in the bottom right corner if anyones interested ) lol ;)

As far as I could see .. they've 2 down there, one parked on the front road-side and one parked at the far-end back of the car-park ..... Halifax dont have any and to be honest, I havent seen any being driven round Halifax too, but theres time yet! lol Good.. hope you've put yer name forward...
