I've tried using the foil backed stuff and it just wouldn't stick even with a hairdryer, it worked on a flat surface but if there were any corners or straight lines it wasnt having any of it lol. Good luck with yours though!

It's still a pain in the arse as you have to poke around for it through little holes still so there's nothing "easy access" about it im afraid. I still couldn't find my annoying screw so took a drive minus the dash until I heard it roll into a corner and poked around there for a while til I got...

It sounds awkward but it didn't take long at all...I dropped one of the tax disc screws down there and it was doing my head in sliding from one end to another when I went round a corner, tried the whole magnetic stick thing and no joy so ended up taking the dash off. Its a few screws and snap...

Tried to fit mine yesterday and as someone mentioned above the only way I can see them fitting is by grinding the brackets.
