I don't let my friends drive my car anymore...back when i was 18,i let a friend have a drive and he promptly smashed into a brick wall, lol. Its not that i dont trust my friends, just dont want to go through the same ordeal again and espcecially as most have never driven a car with as much fizz..
Get those babies off quick or they'll stick like a good un!!! Auto Glym is good for the job...you know spring/summer is here when you get a front end like that. :)
More expensive by 10% are you mad? Show me a company that does H&R's for the 182 at 800 quid and is an official dealer. GDI is an official dealer of them hence he has to stick close to the RRP. You seem to be missing the fact some of their products are much cheaper, even up to 20% on some items...
Had something very similar happen to me in Northwich when i was at college. I was turning off onto a slip road and a works van literally does a last minute dive to make it and i beep my horn to say watch it dick.
Well that really put the fire in his belly,lol...at the lights he reversed into me...
Whats wrong with those prices? Remember you get club discount. His decat is the cheapest around by far. He also has some other good deals going on. Those prices are there for a guide,I've found Andy and GDI very helpfull and competitive on prices, especially compared to K-tec.
Depends if you want to go the DIY route of sorting out the breather issue. If its only a tenner more i'd opt for the hillpower and save the hassle, looks smart too.
Sounds great...when's that? I'm leaving in August sometime...Whoa quick reply...you do your work that quick? :)
You coming out to Dubai or just sending the car?
Its a technical question though...
But i'm not going to get nitty,gritty... Prospeed have a good record of producing quality products just don't expect any gains,it will look and sound nicer but for any performance gains big $$ is needed.
Wrong section matey but anyway....
Prospeed (any custom job) are made to fit not designed specifically for the 182 whereas the BBPT/AWT/Orbisound have gone through hundreds of tests to maximise performance.
The blueflame is value for an off the shelf exhaust IMHO.
There are a few threads...
Pay your money take your choice.
Bottom line is money talks, but there are good deals, for example off the shelf blueflame. When back in the UK gonna have a look at the all the above mentioned..hopefully Ben will have got it released by then.
Mine went in on Sunday for repair...
New rear Quarter panel, painted filled and smooth rear bumper, new alloy, new tyre, new exhaust centre section...comes to 9,600 DHS which is rougly 1,450 pounds. Paying my excess which is only 75 which is great...waiting to hear how long now..
Janspeed isn't custom Justin....come on keep up,lol.
I think you should always stick with companies that have experience of 182 exhausts if your going down the custom route...i.e Prospeed and H&S.
^^^ Good question,i'd be interested to read what it is,can't be anything over mid 70's though.
I really like the orbisound, its just i wouldn't want the sports cat as i already have a decat and i'm chuffed to bits with it,no point spending 250 pounds on something i don't need.
^^ Slightly incorrect. Orbisound is probably better than most custom exhausts. Costs a small fortune though. Blueflame is the value exhaust. Shed Motorsport are currently bringing out their new exhaust which is supposed to be the business.
I agree with general comments so far, denfinately wait 6-12 months to let the prices drop but will also be interesting to see who's the first one to get one on here...
Yeah i've had this problem a few times too, have to do it really gently and smoothly. Can't be my gearbox oil as i've only done 14k miles and was told it only needs changing around 50-60k??
Looks extremely tidy, check the diameter of the pipes going into the back box as mr billy said and maybe leave it 3/400 miles to bed in. Looks extremely nice though.
Good luck getting to the bottom of it.
