I think you will find that you have more than one device on the same IRQ thus it is conflicting, take off USB and other things that are connected to the computer and see if it works then.

If he can access your computer instead of packet sniffing he can get you passwords using the right programs.

The RangeMax go up to 400 feet by the looks of it, don't forget things blocking the range such as walls though.

I'd be very suprised if you get anything near 300 meters, the USB adaptors I use are from Netgear, they have a RangeMax range for longer distance routers.

Renault quoted me less than £120 for mine before and that was a new key and it coded.

Only Renault do it I believe as they won't give the key code out for anyone else to do it, unless someone else knows otherwise because I had this problem myself.
