The problem with Sonos is they need to be connected to Wifi. So if it's staying at home, that's no issue, if he wants to take it out and about it's useless, unfortunately.
As a portable alternative to my Sonos speakers, I have a Beats Pill. Probably (definitely) better quality speakers out...
Mine randomly started working again the other day. For 3 days, then stopped again. My wife's iPhone works in the car though, so it's definitely my phone.
I know what you mean - I'm happy to have the car, it's certainly a lot better at its job than my old 182 would've been, the same goes for my Passat. I wouldn't have put a poster of it on my wall, like I did a F355 or F50 though!
I'm on the other side of the fence really. As someone who has little to no time to spend with cars - in fact, I don't really have the inclination these days either - having a nice car to pootle about in works well for me. Now, by nice I mean that there are much more luxurious cars out there...
I find them boring to look at personally - and they're usually driven by halfwits round here - although the same could be said for any marque these days.
I don't have any S-Line badges on my A3 :(
MAF Sensor maybe? I had issues with mine a while back, wouldn't see above 60mph, and rubbish MPG's. Not that it matters, given you've chopped it in!
Once we finish up moving house, we'll be getting rid of ours too, I should think.
I'm a bit gutted you didn't take @Budgie to collect my old car in this motor, I absolutely love it - and that's from someone who isn't normally very fond of E36's!
TBH I despise the things. Round here, they tend to be driven by utter mongs. Although since you seem able to string a sentence together, perhaps it's a local issue!
You're happy with it, that's the main thing - enjoy!
Sorry bud, only just saw this.
In short, no. The local Apple Store aren't great when it comes to Genius availability. However, randomly, yesterday, I plugged in my phone whilst the engine was actually running (rather than with the ignition on, if you know what I mean) and it worked, for the...
By reset, you mean the full wallop? So all content and settings? Bummer if so.
Siri is on, so it's not that. Even so, I think CarPlay still initialises, it just doesn't openly fully, and gives you an error message on the car's screen.
If it's a "trust" issue, would that also affect the fact...
Hi guys,
So I have an iPhone 6S Plus, which I've been connecting via USB to my car, which runs CarPlay.
About a week ago, whilst driving, it suddenly cut off, so CarPlay shut off, and the phone stopped charging via the USB port. Now, whenever I plug it in to the car, it doesn't do anything -...
That'd be the only reason I'd go tbf. Apart from passenger laps in a decent car! But then, the reasons for not coming are already documented, so we'll see!
I've never lowered a car in my life!
