Autoglym tar remover, use after washing to remove tar spotting on lower panels. Then rinse
meguiars or autoglym clay kit comes with clay and lube, generally a quick detailing spray, to remove bonded contaminats to all panels. Then rinse again.

From the minor bit of wet sanding I did years ago, sod ever doing a whole car. Looks awesome but the time and effort I would never do it to my own car.
so what do you know about cquartz finest other than dealer applied only
Can't see there's a lot of demand for it myself, not often that detailing gear is up for sale. Can always put a thread up in the detailing section. What you got to offer?

with the big arm to the right hand side of the house, and the crane arm seen above the clio roof line just behind the B pillar I'd say it's being demolished
only had a little sample of g101 and was awesome, but won't get through 5l to buy it from a trusted retailer and don't trust ebay for smaller quantities.
Toby what did you do with the rest of avalanche? used it or want to sell the remaining? Was happy from my trials of it, currently trying VP...
not tried any others, but total cleaned interior better than my daisy apc.
got some finale coming to give it another chance. I seem to change my preference in QD's quite regularl, didn't dislike it last time, but preferred others
from the ones I've used autofinesse revive has proved to be very good for non permanent dressings
I'd heard the bouncers were trim safe but wasn't brave enough to try
typically no. there are some that are called trim safe, but this is more a case of you can get it on trim, wipe it off and it won't leave white stains.
some trim dressings just make them look black, others actually protect them, and resist dirt. Im presuming your using autoglym bumper care...
believe it's high alkaline, but it's wax / sealant safe. typically go for Ph neutral but there are exceptions. lol. citrus power has a similar ph to some oven cleaners but there is a lot more stuff behind the scenes in the make up that counts
you wont be disappointed if you do purchase CP. I'm...
I coated all my springs and struts in GT C2 before fitting, all they get is a pressure rinse. No idea if it's still performing but worth a try if you have time to kill.
Completely agree with the comment on tough coat above
Citrus power is pretty good IMO, but there are plenty of other PH neutral pre washes that can also be used if you're not looking to use it that often.
Ref wheel brushes, EZ detail wheel brush or wheel woolies are by far the best. more expensive than the others but last longer and work better.
using a brush will be fine with any kind of shampoo or wax safe PH nuetral pre wash. let this soak a little then pressure rinse to see if that helps. I've only got a budget washer so pressure isn't great so a pre soak is sometimes needed especially behind spokes or tight corners.
The videos are...
id give them 6months tops. any oils, silicones, anything that will interfere with the bond and it won't work. I'd always use tar and iron removers, and light polish then IPA or panel wipe to ensure 100% clean.
then you've got to get application right, don't over apply, leave to long, allow to...
Once you've used it a couple of times, you can get 4x 17" wheels done with 10ml.
it is impressive stuff, albeit expensive for what you get. But if you don't get the prep 110% perfect it won't last more than a y other wax.
I've been considering selling my autofinesse mint rims if this would be of interest. been on my winter wheel hub caps for 4months so far
im sticking to C5 for all wheels now
Although a nice turn around, people's interpretation of filthy is interesting. With the current weather we've had, that's equivilant to a week of two's driving for me and the wife and both our cars are well protected.
Ref side and rear windows, depends how much you open your windows and use your rear wiper? If you already have G1 you'll use so little compared to thefront screen you might as well stick to it. I've past 18months on both cars with a single layer of G1 on side and rear glass.
other products...
Yeah it was, bully.
If I'm honest, I rarely pat dry anymore. care just doesn't keep in good enough condition regardless of my wash technique. owning a rubbish car is frustrating, but not having to worry about a dealer washing it and all the rest of it is a relief
looking at the pictures, either very clever photography, tripple is the best 'filling' product ever, or it was corrected to get the finish on the below pictures.
