Great game.
I'm crap at it though, most the office have better scores than me.
I know something about the future of GW that I'd love to post, but I'd get the sack.
From what I can remember, as I've not really been following, I think it's going to be downloadable on Steam like other updates and games for the same engine. Valve snapped up the students who wrote Nebacular Drop.
I don't think there's going to be what could be called a "full" game from it...
It doesn't say anywhere that's on PS3. It's just the same footage they have been showing for ages. The movie has been available online for ages and on the 360 market place.
The game idea is based on this: http://www.nuclearmonkeysoftware.com/narbaculardrop.html?overview.html
I spotted a Mk2 Phase 1 on the motorway at the weekend with the bonnot smashed against the windscreen. Luckily they had made it over to the hard shoulder safely.
Not many as I spent more time on track than in the pits taking pics, plus when I was out of the car it was raining.
If anyone wants full sized ones let me know.

I think I'll give that first update a go.
I'm reluctant to patch the game though as mine has been fine so far, and the last thing I want is to lose my saves.
I enjoyed it. I think it's a bit pointless though as it can't give us any idea of the true scale of what's to come in the game.
I did find myself doing lap after lap to get a better time though. :o That's a bad sign as it means I'll get obsessed with it.
I agree the time penalty for a car...
Nice write up Weeman.
When I met Mike Brewer on Driven he was a really nice bloke. Spent the entire day chatting to people, unlike Plato and Penny Mallory.
IMO it doesn't compare. Live For Speed had lovely car dynamics and GTR 1 and 2 and GTL are pure sims.
Forza has enough sim for us car nerds and a strong enough arcade side for the mainstream.
Not that bad, but it does have a habit of braking a bit hard mid corner when you are right behind and sometimes shunting you up the rear when braking. Otherwise it's more than passable. Not massively different from the first game really.
Started it at 10.10 (roughly) when it went up. It was down for around 12.30. It's going to be even slower now the yanks are downloading it too.
I knew I should have bought my hard drive to work with me.
