It's been ages since I've played it too, but I have played GT HD.
To me the cars feel a bit floaty light in Forza compared to GT4. In GT4 all the cars feel heavy and really pitch and roll under cornering, braking and acceleration.
The sound on the small Samsung LCD wasn't good either, but...
I've just played it most of my lunch hour and really enjoyed it. I'm not sure I prefer the handling over GT4, but then this is a racing game, and that's what counts.
I can't wait to get my hands on the full version now.
Just had a quick dabble. I tried the 997 Turbo, Lambo Gallardo and Zonda Race car. Obviously I turned off all the assists, and it's not that hard to play. You have to drive it properly, not locking the brakes etc. It feels like the previous one only quicker. It's at a good solid 60fps which...

GP stuff works fine. We don't use Roaming profiles though.
The biggest problem I've had is finding printer drivers. There's only one printer in the entire office I can use at the moment! I really need some working 64 bit Kyocera...
Some of the guys here like having a 24" some prefer two 21". It depends how they like to work.
I have to suffer with 2 19"s.
The quality of the image is excellent, much better than I was expecting, as in all honesty I'd read some mixed reviews. One of the lads here has one of the earlier...
The problem with using Nero is it can't allow for variable bit rate audio which means the sound is out of sync.
I user this: http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareAvi2Dvd.html
It's basically lots of little apps all put together in one interface. It works perfectly. Once you have the files you...
