Fine mate. Being an LLU provider they're not quite as anal as your average BTW IPstream provider. No restrictions (port 25 aside) in place.

I know.. My original post was suggesting/asking if Brasso was highly/OTT/excessively abrasive.

502 error normally means there's a username and/or password error. Failing that it means your subscription has expired or the download limit has been exceeded.

Windows Movie maker is probably the easiest and quickest* way of converting it to something smaller. * - You won't produce a Bafta winning movie from it but it does the job.

An hour would have been sufficient. It normally only needs a few minutes at most. If that hasn't solved the problem then you can strike clearing the CMOS off your list.

CMOS can be cleared in a number of ways. Most common is removing the battery for a set period of time or clearing it by swapping a specific jumper.
