as sam suggests try before you buy... i got some corbeau sprints which are fixed backs and they are suprisingly very comfy. the more you spend the better quality (and comfort) they will be Daytonas are a good choice for recliners

oz ultraleggeras/superlegerras agree with sam on the turinis although i do love my super T :p

as long as you sand it down and use plastic primer it is easily possible ...he probably couldn't be bothered
