either the same color as your car or a contrasting colour to your car ie
blue - yellow
black - yellow
black - white
red - black
ect.
i went with the same colour as my car then polished the rest up so its black and silver with a few touches of blue to bring the samco into the theme.
think i need some of them sanding flaps but i have a set with the rest in but didnt know what they were all for lol. but ill have a bash on the weekend and see if i can get it any better.
i have used a dremel but can you get less corse sanding bits for them as mine are all like 40 grit and leave great big scratches in it but i have nothing to sand the scratches out with afterwards.
thought i would have ago at this myself as i like the look of it on other clios. still needs a bit of work as there are still a few scratches in them but over all im quite happy with the result.

did you take your plen off to polish it up or did you do it on the car? part way through doing the fuel rail protector but i need to use the car everyday so cant take it off.
sounds like an ok price to me mate. ussually i say between £100 -£150 per average panel so say bumpers = £300, wings = £150, doors = £300, skirts = £150, spoiler £100. sounds about right.
i would be interested in a 172 one if the price is right.

it`s celilouse based base coat that you cant use any more and you can use it but only untill it runs out as it is illigal to manufacture anymore. hence why most body shops went to water based. you can still buy it from some vehicle paint stores but body shops may refuse to use it. 2 pack...

i just scotched mine. ther is no need for all the flatting unless you are doing it in silver or light gold type colour. but in black it would only need grey scotching unless it was scratched.

ive been told that the rocker cover gasket is a 5 to 7 hr job. this is leaking on mine too and have been told that it is a common thing and not to worry about it until i have the cambelt done. just keep an eye on the oil level and top it up when needed. but i would still soak it up before...
