Get some turinis or somethin then! That way if you go to a faster clio after, you can swap em straight over, if not flog em on here when you sell up, you will probably get more than half back what u paid for them:)
Still looks cool on them turinis even if its not lowered :D.. nice upgrade!
Hope Martin doesn't mind me using this pic of his old 1.2, but this is what you should aim for as yours is well on its way...
mint tbf!
Interesting, I ask as I was considering going down this route myself just to get in something quick(ish) while I;m at uni...have the same car as you atm
only thing that holds me back is that it might feel like a comedown in terms of everything else compared to the Clio! Might just buy a really...
Know how you feel mate! Im stuck with my 1.2 for another two years. Might aswell do a bit of tidying up so that you can enjoy it more, wheels, colourcoding etc, improvements can be made without major money
I'd get the wheels done first mate to avoid any grime from them splashing up the paint as u do them. But as shadowness said with the order, thats the way its done.
Also before washing you could go round the car with the APC and a soft brush doing the door shuts, inside the fuel cap and badges...
I usually use APC for this but have found existing tyre shines a bit stubborn to get off with just APC and a brush sometimes
I hear Megs Super Degreaser is better suited to the job, I'd give that a try
I think the steering on the 1.2 is quite slow to centre if anything..low on feedback too...electric PAS for you.
I think you;ll notice a difference...will be heavier aswell with the 2.0 up top
If you want one with a plush side and then a normal side, get the Poorboys deluxe mega towel its practically the same as the Sonus but about half the price
