Oh yeah of course lol, I was just finalising that the sensor is under the mirror. I wonder why its been taken out? Hmm my car has a strange past, I opened up the boot yesterday to check the spare tyre and it had about 2 inches of water sloshing around in there. Strange or what lol.
So all I need to do is 'borrow' a sensor from a mirror in the scrap yard? And just plug it into mine? Does it matter what model I get it off? Sorry for all the questions :o And by inside the n/s mirror, do you mean under it? As thats where the hole is in mine where I think it should be?
Sorry for posting again but I've just nipped out to the car (its dark) and felt under the passenger side mirror, and I felt a little rectangle shaped hole where I'm guessing the sensor should be? So this would explain me not having the external temperature gauge.
So has anyone any ideas on...
Not been working since I got the car, surely its not got anything to do with me not having a standard radio/cd player?
All I have on my little dash is just the time. No radio, no temperature.
Bump this thread up as I recently bought a Clio 1.4 'Sport' MK2 Phase 1, it didn't have the standard radio/CD player fitted, and I was just wondering why its not showing up.
I presume my car has the external temperature sensor?
Yeah i'd give it a quick wipe down to get dust/flies off with a microfibre. Spray the quick detailer (I recomend Meguairs one) and buff it off with a different microfibre cloth.
Very good buy on the seats mate, and the plates look awesome too. I doubt you'd get any trouble with those, its not as though its been chopped down and tiny font.
I recently got my Clio on Monday and have also noticed the lights are very dim, none of the bulbs look out its just very dull. I have it on the brightest setting on the adjuster too.
