If you have a 172, then there isn't much difference between that and the 182. (182's rarely make their quoted power) Honda is a very reliable car but I've had no issues with my Renault, after 5 years of ownership. Performance is almost identical, which I think is the real reason for your thread...

It seems I/we are missing your point but going by your initial post, we are responding based on the highlighted. And I doubt you are getting close to 10-12 bhp inc's with your exhaust and IK. However, I'm sure you could make your car more fun to drive with a better suspension and brakes...

I had a 1.2 SXi Corsa try it on on the motorway. He had just cut me off on a roundabout, so I chased him a bit and thought, why am I bothering? So I crept up on him and then let him away whilst appearing to be trying. He must have been so chuffed his 1.2 just smoked a 2.0!
