I do both! Obviously real life is better but you can't really sit down in the evening and decide that you want, by 5 minute's time, to be hammering down the Mulsanne, at night, in the wet, in a Mercedes CLK GTR. I just stick the seat etc in the spare room when I'm not using it.

€599 IIRC. No flex at all, it's solid as a rock. Not foldable, but generally the foldable ones are the ones that flex.

I have an Rseat RS1. It's proper. It's also adjustable.

Had another quick blast. The WR holder's quite slow for the first half of the lap but f***s off back down the hill at a rate of knots! This was with a rather large sideways moment. Could probably hit the elevens on a clean lap.

EFA. You're right, it's not the same. Driving balls out thrashing round a course having a whale of a time for a whole day, 50 times over or Pottering about in a wide ass supercar stuck in traffic and not being allowed to do anything particularly interesting, once. Hard choice.

Yeah, at Autosport. I get what you're saying about the driver aids, although to be honest Autosolo is something that they were never really programmed to cope with. I've watched them on hillclimbs being rather nippy, which is something a little more acceptable to the electronic nannies.

Yeah, but I look at everything in terms of how much racing that'd get me - in this case 5 entire seasons of autosolo, with 10 events a year!

Saw this advertised the other day funnily enough. Although you drove 3 cars instead of 5, so you traded variety for seat time. All these supercar events are terrible value for money when you think about it, but at least you get a decent bit of seat time doing this, even if it is just pottering...

My only experience of 500's was a Competizione in an autosolo, and I was quite surprised by how capable it was. The clio is more of a classic hot hatch - Big engine, very little of anything else, whereas the Abarth is much more modern and sophisticated. I'd say it'd be more about personal taste...

What modes are you shooting in? Any photos you can share? Auto modes tend to bump up the ISO a lot, which kills quality. Also make sure of course that you're shooting in full resolution etc. I don't really believe that bridge cameras can't take good pics, they're limited compared to DSLRs, but...
