Yeah but the more you mess with your car the more you will devalue it, mate I'm only21 so I'm not exactly old! Sold my old car to A lovely old dear too so just chill with your car, sure fit silvervisions, alloys etc but keep the original stuff and whatever you do don't make it like some of the...
matey, there was a guy on here who's bonnet latch stopped working on a 182 and he found a way of opening it without breaking/cutting/smashing anything - search for it and hopefully that will help.... I think he wrote a guide...?
option 2 allllll day long!!
Its what I did, stuck with a 1.4 until I was old enough for good insurance and good afford a 182 with low miles for cash, now I love it and Ive got the money to run it and buy silly mods like aeros etc :D
plus driving a lower powered car when you younger gives you...
crikey I have never seen anything like that, he must of seriously pissed someone off!! Look at that stuff they put on the car, its stripped the paint straight down to the metal  acid or something?
man o man, if I looked out of the window one night and saw someone doing that I'd go and get...
just think mate... instead of your gentleman's club complete with pool table, 40 inch plasma and working bar.. you could have had a sorted garage with ramp and acres of room so you can play with your clios late into the night....
;)
Thats a joke! My dad t-boned a mini with the landy when it tried to nip across the main road in front of him, absolutely tore the back end off the car - complete write off. The landy needed a new 'bumper' better described as a girder and, front light housing and the wheel was pulled out of...
I have a '98 defender for on the farm, they don't exactly have 'crumple zones'.
Steel girder for a front bumper and the back of the chassis at the back, with a 2.5tn rated towbar & frame, absolutely solid against any car/van/tree/small animals.
hope you get it sorted mate.
yo! I went past in the fast lane in my black 182 but you were changing lane so didn't see me :dapprove:
love the light blue colour (don't know the name for it)
Clio RS's always look awsome at dusk with the xenons on :)
There is a small valve in the exhaust system under the engine that opens for a brief time when the car is first started, I can't remember the name for it but my engine was making a similar noise and my local mechanic explained it was this valve.
The valve recirculates the exhaust gases when the...
Funny you should say that because my 182 is making a noise in exactly the same situations, kinda like a squeak/rattle. After much experimenting I think it part of the exhaust or something similar rattling...
Try these experiments:
1. Whilst stopped - in neutral gradually increase the revs until...
Well I can help you with the fog light if it is the same as my 182..?
1. You can access it from under the car, by removing two torx nuts holding the plastic sheet/splash guard thing on (in front of the front wheel directly below the fog light.) You don't have too touch the wheel arch plastic...
I think its cool your doing this, tbh you could buy a 172/182 straight up but that would be like buying a airfix model prebuilt - and wheres the fun in that!
A relative of mine built a Caterham kit (think thats right may of been a westfield?) and loved building it more than driving it - so...
Its amazing what some people do, just for the hell of it. I am sure we could never understand what makes someone want too set a light to a random car on the street - seriously messed up upstairs I should imagine.
Ever since I had a car stolen years back I take as many precautions as I can too...
Geezer, just dont bother, take it from me.
I owned a 1.4 Polo for two years and was so nearly tempted on a number of occasions to mess around with it modding etc, decided to leave it stone cold standard and it was def the right decision:
a) you don't spend every hard earned penny on gear to...
+ when ever you do a presentation in a darkened room, you open the lid on the mac and the Apple glows telling everyone your the sh*t haha ;)
just kidding - I'm not actually a kn8b
Work day in day out as a designer with them. Fantastic to use many clever little details that massively increase output and speed such as spaces etc...
Incredibly reliable, I have owned 3 macs over the past 6 years and not one, NOT ONE has had a mechanical problem, software related problem, or...
