One GPU is enough for now ;).
Thanks
Yeah it is a beast for gaming and that’s why I went for the components I did but I also just wanted to build a top end system.
Well yeah that can be some peoples perception but you will find most Watercooled systems still have fans but you don’t need...
Why thankyou :o lol.
Yeah you can put a rad in the front of this case but I cant as I have 2x optical drives and 2x HDD's.
Trust me with the rad now having 3x 120x120x38mm Yate Loons pushing on it and 3x 120mm - D12SH-12 pulling all the hot air away its going to be pretty darn cold lol...
Yeah I had a Noctua cooler for the i7 before this. The fans on that were pretty good :)
The thing is it isnt "silent" and I dont want it to be. You know its working when it makes a noise lol ;)
Haha I wish :rasp:
The fans are on a 6 way controller so I have full control but even on full you would be amazed at how quiet it is :)
The case fans also have a 3 speed setting.
As I had to send my HDD back via an RMA as it was foooked lol I thought I would take the opportunity to alter my Watercooling setup as I wasn’t 100% happy with it.
So the plan was to spin the rad around 180% to lose the unnecessary tubing and get some new fans so I wouldnt have to hack the...
Right I have stuck with the Raptor only due to the hasle of getting a refund and then buying a SSD as a seperate order. I dont to be without my system for another 10 days lol.
The raptor is going to be goof enough, for now ;)...
Just on the phone to them now.
I think I am going to get one of these instead of the VelociRaptor. http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/128GB-Corsair-Storage-Solutions-25-SATAII-Solid-State-Disk-(SSD)-MLC-90Mb-70Mb
Its only an extra £80 ;)...
When it was at 4GHz...
Idle - 27-29
Stress - 56-60
I have actually re-fitted my rad and turned it round and bought some new fans (I now have 3x Yate Loon D12SL-12D 120x120x38mm pushing on the rad :). I have also cut off about 50cm of my loop lengh so I expect my temps to be abit lower.
My...
Right I need a piece of software that you can run from boot say like a Windows Setup DVD and is file manager type program where by I can take a file off a HDD and copy it over to a USB Flash drive.
The system doesnt have a HDD installed with an OS on it so dont point out the obvious lol
Ta
Daemon tools is fine. I've been using it for years. When installing just untick all of extra options like the toolbar etc. This wil cut down the risk of any spyware issues, not that I've had any!!
Indeed. I stupidly thought about getting them to build me a system before I built my new one. Looking back it was probably the worst idea I have ever had.
If you have the ability to build one yourself do it!
