i have a 1.2 16v extreme and optimax or bp ultimate make it more responsive, as well as getting 30 - 40 more miles to a full tank.

when i bought mine i changed the plugs to bosch plus 4, the air filter to a k &n high flow and i change the oil and filter myself every 5000 miles. save quite a bit of money doing it that way.

i doubt that changing the wheels will void your warranty, as long as you buy the right offset and a decent size. 2 months ago i replaced disks and pads and they sqeek so i guess they all do!

for anyone who is interested, the cable comes as part of the regulator, and for a mk 2 this is £186 new! picked one up from the scrappy for £30!

to change the tweeters you have to take off the dash, as they are deep down in there, the door speakers are easy , just pull the cover off and there are 2 or 4 torx, undo them and the old speaker comes out.

my g/friends leccy windows are fooked, the cable has broken . has anyone ever changed this cable, my local garage who i get parts off say the parts come as a kit that includes a new motor, i would have thought you couuld just buy a new cable? cheers for any help ! mk 2 phase 1 by the way
