Oh, & as for the question! lol! Ive been warned off going for 17"s as they do make a noticeable difference. Hence why Im going for 16"s instead. Borrow some 15"s off someone, and go for a blast. Bet you will change them then!

Yeah, agree with Fred on this one. Not all powerflow dealers are that bad, but most are awful! Bloke next door to my work got one done, and later found out there were 11 (yes I did say eleven) holes in it when he got it home! Get a K-Tec

Dont sell it mate cos of a couple of problems. Youll regret it & its a mint looking valver!

Another point worth mentioning is the fact a 16v is IG12 and the GTi is IG14. Could save quite a bit on insurance!

Just spend the money you would tuning the 1.4, and buy a valver and pay the extra insurance.

Dont think so. KTR charge £246.75 whereas most other places are £250 or more!

Cant remember why the needle jumps but IIRC its pretty expensive to fix, hence the reason why everyone just puts up with it.

Looks quite small compared to the OE one, so it should make the zorst a bit louder.

My mate had a 106GTi and although it was fairly quick (not as fast as my valver) and was a very nice car, I felt it just lacked that feeling you get with a valver. 16v owners will know exactly what I mean!
