    Are Clios the best cars?

The Mk2 Clio's chassis is a very good one so even the lesser models are fun to drive. I owned a 1.2 RN before i got the Cup and it was pretty much spot on other than a lack of power but then its horses for courses. At 20 it was the best car i could have owned without paying out a couple of grand...

    Trip computer/MPG etc Resetting....

Switch on the ignition then when you turn the key to start the car watch the fuel gauge needle. If it drops then rises once the engine has fired it means the dash is losing power whilst the starter is turning, thus resetting the trips. Battery is dying. REPLACE!

    SLIDE in the wet

Dan speaks sense. If you must drive quick in the wet then make it smooth and progressive imputs....don't saw away at the wheel and definitely don't have club feet.

    36.6 MPG wtf

Yeah i see the point on the weekends. Just not on the hack to work every morning. I barely find the room to anyway. Plus it saves me having to re-fill every 5 days.

    SLIDE in the wet

Driving in the wet without having pants changing moments is just a case of being sensible with your throttle pedal. Jump on it mid corner and you'll know about it....jump off it mid corner and you'll know about it even more. Of course, being a Cup owner you also have to reconsider jumping on...

Anyone any idea what this is please.....

It actually smoothed mine out when i got rid of it. It makes things rather jerky during gearshifts i found.

    36.6 MPG wtf

Im gettin about 37 from mine at the moment. I don't see the point driving like your pants are on fire when you barely get the room driving in rush hour traffic.

Anyone any idea what this is please.....

Thats part of the acoustic valve assembly. Basically a restrictive part of the induction system. Alot of people do away with them...me being one of them.

    Dash switching off

I mean the battery is gettin to the end of its life. Will be over 4 years old now. Pretty much the average life of a battery. Im not saying its gonna be the cure but i'd try a new battery as a matter of course.

Hmmmm...ok thats kinda thrown me a bit. Im thinking maybe the last 4 digits won't actually give us any kinda order at all! There are 8 numbers in the full chassis number after all! 1. Is this an import?

Im guessing at the same time. I only ever read about it being deleted on the Cup!

    Is this an import?

They deleted the drivers door lock on 03/53 year Cups.

    New pads - any recommendations....

I went for the EBC Green pad and Brembo HC disc setup. Very good for fast road use IMO.

If its running normally then its prob just down to that de-cat, but its unusual that it didn't come on sooner i guess.

    Dash switching off

Sounds like the dying battery syndrome. Mine did it last winter. Dash loses power on start up and resets the trip counters.

    HELP QUICKLY

No idea where its located on a 1.6 buddy! Can't be too hard to miss though. Thing should be yellow topped for a start, and at the front or back of the block.

    HELP QUICKLY

Coil pack is common on the Clio. To be honest, oil level is the first thing i'd check just for safety sake but it sounds electrical.
